What is Sixth Wave?
Sixth Wave is a specialty coffee marketplace. A collection of unique, tasty coffee from specialty roasters across the country.

Sixth Wave is not a subscription/subscription box – but we did start that way. Subscription boxes are great, but everybody has such unique tastes, it made more sense to let you choose what you like to drink, and we’ll just make recommendations.

What do I get with a membership?
Starting at $5 a month, you can become a member and get even more. The major perk of a membership is the discounts we offer our members. Discounts are never less than 30% and we often have even higher discounts. Members orders are filled 24/7 and go straight to the front of the line for quicker roasting/delivery.

I purchased a membership, when will my first order arrive?
When you place an order! Memberships don’t come with coffee included, unfortunately we cannot be giving away coffee this tasty for only $5 a month. But you’ll likely get free samples occasionally, we do love our members :)

Why can’t I see member pricing?
For now, this is somewhat private – there are a number of resellers locally of the brands we carry and we don’t want to compete directly with them, we respect that others make a living off of the products we carry also. As soon as you purchase a membership, you will see the discounted prices whenever you’re logged in, and any discounts/savings are shown in your cart.

If you’re interested in browsing around and seeing if a membership is worth it, all options have a 7 day free trial. You can cancel at any point before day 8 for a full refund.

What is the point of a membership?
Because we buy at scale, we get discounts on the coffee we purchase – we pass that exclusive pricing along to you. You pay $5 a month, and that’s all we make, we break even on all coffee sales for members. This is our way of adding value to the coffee supply chain, but only profiting off of the value we add. Your money as a member goes directly to the roaster.

I’m a member, I can’t see how much I’m saving…
In your cart, your savings are listed. Add an item to your cart and you will see the difference in price.

My coffee was damaged when I got it…
Let us know! Send an email to orders@sixthwavecoffee.com and we’ll get a new order sent right away. We do require a photo of the damage for approval, and so we know what’s going on out there in the shipping world – coffee comes directly from the roaster to you so we never see/touch it and we like to know if there’s anything we can do better to avoid any issues in the future.

Can I get a refund?
If we mess up, we’ll gladly refund your money. If you don’t like your coffee let us know and we’ll recommend something better for next time. Since coffee isn’t something we can re-sell if returned, we can’t swing refunds unfortunately – but we’ll do anything we can to make sure your next experience is a better one.
